Early Voting for the 2026 Primary Election on August 18 has started and continues daily from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 16. Polling locations are listed here.
Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Wendy Sartory Link reminds the public to “…bring one or two forms of valid and current identification (ID) that include your signature and photo.” Acceptable forms of photo ID are listed here.
The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website states, “If your photo ID does not include your signature, you will be asked to provide another ID that has your signature.” The website notes that persons not bringing ID may still vote using a provisional ballot. However, the provisional ballot will later “…be evaluated by the Canvassing Board for eligibility.”
Drop off Your Mail-in Ballot at an Early Voting Location
Anyone with a mail-in ballot who does not want to mail it in, may drop the ballot off at any “Early Voting location during Early Voting hours”.
ExpressVote Program to Be Used for Early Voting
According to the Supervisor of Elections website, “Cutting-edge technology equipment to increase voter confidence and accessibility for all voters” will be used during this year’s Early Voting program. All voters will use ExpressVote equipment that in the past has been reserved for voters with disabilities and those requiring assistance.”
“We are proud to utilize the most cutting-edge technology, equipment, and best practices available that increase voter confidence and accessibility for all voters. That’s why ExpressVote equipment will now be used by every eligible voter during Early Voting.”
Although ExpressVote is being introduced to all voters in Palm Beach County for the first time this year, several states throughout the U.S. have used the system with great success for several years. In the past in Florida, ExpressVote has been reserved for voters with disabilities and for those needing assistance.
“The paper-based ExpressVote combines touchscreen ballot marking technology with an integrated thermal printer to produce a paper record for tabulation. The ExpressVote saves time, reduces marking errors, and lowers costs. Additionally, ExpressVote’s innovative design is ADA-friendly and provides audio and visual guides for multiple languages,” states the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website. “Voters who choose to vote in person at an Early Voting locations during the Special Election will benefit from the ease of use and extra security ExpressVote offers, including greater efficiency, reliability, and security.”
Early voting is convenient and stress-free. Any eligible registered voter in Palm Beach County may vote at any Early Voting site during opening hours. Sartory Link reminds the public that the important choice is to vote, not the voting method chosen.
