The Third Annual Boca Raton Day will be held at Loan Depot Park, home of the Miami Marlins, on Sunday, August 23 when the Marlins host the Washington Nationals. Game time is scheduled for 1:40 pm.
Boca Raton mayor Andy Thompson will kick off the Boca Raton celebration by throwing out the first pitch before the game. About the day Thompson said, “Boca Raton Day is a wonderful opportunity for our residents to come together for an afternoon of baseball, fun, and community.”… “Sports have been a big part of my life, both as a player and a coach, so it’s an absolute honor to throw out the first pitch, which, by the powers vested in me as mayor, I hereby proclaim to be a strike.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased online in advance and will be delivered through the MLB Ballpark app. Discounted tickets are available for $25.74 to everyone, not only Boca Raton résidents.
For additional ticket information, as well as other questions, contact Keeley Himmelreich with the Miami Marlins at 305-480-1488 or by email.
